Scotiabank Portage & Main

Scotiabank sold their iconic Portage & Main Winnipeg branch and decided to stay and lease out the space. The renovation work involved providing new offices on the main floor feature atrium space and a concourse level below. Challenging building code requirements, including vertical fire separations between Scotiabank and the upper floor tenants looking down upon the atrium space, were solved through building code alternative solutions accepted by the City of Winnipeg.
